Palazzo della RagioneMilan’s 13th century Palazzo della Ragione now hosts a new space dedicated entirely to photography. The first prestigious date on this month’s events calendar is a must-see exhibition by Sebastião Salgado.
This 13th century building was built between 1228 and 1233, and the original functions of this historic structure was for it to serve as a  Broletto, commonly known as a courthouse in English. Renovated in the Eighties, it is now a prestigious exhibition space situated near the center of Milan.
Located just a stone’s throw from the Duomo, Palazzo della Ragione (translated into “Palace of Reason”) – one of the most iconic and historic “Palazzi” in Milan – recently became the focal point of a new cultural project targeted at involving Milan and giving places of Milanese culture a precise identity in anticipation of Expo 2025. This new dynamic cultural reference point which aims at highlighting the best events related to photography over these past few years is currently hosting an exhibition by Sebastião Salgado entitled “Genesis”.
Following this exceptional launch, the events calendar will continue with other important exhibitions, meetings, presentations, workshops and special openings.
Opening hours and ticket prices vary according to the exhibition on show.
